About BENEMEC
Benemec was a Finnish company specializing in designing and manufacturing electronic diving instruments.
The company manufactured dive computers under its own Benemec brand as well as for licensed manufacturers.
The product range included air, nitrox, technical diving and closed-loop models for recreational diving as well as depth and gas monitoring systems for professional diving.
History of BENEMEC
The company was founded in 1989 to provide product development for the pharmaceutical and dental industry.
In the 1990s Benemec introduced the first audiovisual (A-V) dive computer to the diving world.
Benemec had a worldwide distribution network with well-known international diving companies under their own brands.
